The race was a another great success with a good turnout of volunteers on the day – many thanks to all who contributed, and especially Lee Edwards for coordinating a very well run event. We had a big increase of paddlers: 79 registered craft including 15 guppies and 6 doubles – about double 2014, and 71 craft completed the race.
The weather conditions were perfect but there were a few too many power boats – maybe we start it earlier in the day in 2017. Many thanks to all the race sponsors who generously provided a wide range of prizes and food: Mainpeak Paddlesports, Mosmans Restaurant, Finn Kayaks, Zephyr Café, and in Mosman Park: IGA, Subway, Coles, Pronto Gourmet Butchers & Bakers Delight.
