Join us for the winter time trials in the Swan River. Laps from Swan Canoe Club to Chidley Point and back (~3km per lap). Select your distance when you register (3km, 6km, 9km or 12km).
When: Every Thursday, starting 16th May to 18th July 2024 Briefing at 5.20pm. Start at 5.30pm. There will be a BBQ and drinks on the last night of the time trials.
Registration $5 (processing fee) Open to all craft, abilities, ages, SCC members and non-members.

This course is designed for people who are new to kayaking or those wishing to learn basic kayaking skills including:
– gear and equipment
– safety awareness & rescues
– different types of kayaks and paddles
– basic strokes and techniques

Sunday 9th June 2024 at 9am
This is an opportunity to experience some interesting parts of the Swan River. Paddling through areas that make you feel miles away from suburbia but also get spectacular views of the city skyline.
Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the lawns of the historic Tranby House in Maylands.
This paddle is suitable for all levels of paddlers that can paddle 13km on flat water.
