Junior Paddling at Swan in 2009

Are you between the ages of 9 and 13, fit, love water sports and looking for something new to try?  Like to represent Australia in the Olympics as Club life member Robin Bell has done twice?  Then white water slalom might just be what you are looking for!  Come to the Swan Canoe Club this Sunday (8th Feb) at 9:30am and learn what is involved. No experience is necessary but you must be able to swim confidently.  The Club is situated just south of Meads in Mosman Bay.  Children must be accompanied by an adult at the information session.

Participants will have the opportunity to try out for the WA Talent Identification (TID) programme run by the WA Slalom Technical Committee.  Training is on Tuesday afternoons and does involve Sunday mornings later in the term if in TID.  Equipment is provided. For more information please ring 9384 1692.
